GIC poster assignment

Here are my posters for my GIC assignment...they weren't done correctly and I plan on fixing them eventually, but seeing as how I got a pretty good grade on them, I don't plan on fixing them anytime soon. The first one is my reference to the Stenberg Brothers and the second one is completely text making up the face of Man Ray which is made up of only letter in his name, with exception to the New York City on his ear and the MOMA on his beard.

Self Study in oil

First attempt at figure/horse in oils...to make it easier on myself i stuck to black and white but i think the scale of it was more challenging than i thought it would be...maybe i should have gone bigger...so its a study of one of Robert McGinnis' paintings...here's the original with mine:

Master Make-over Finished!!!!!

SO....i just finished my master make-over project which is due on tuesday. I think it came out really well! using pastels instead of oil was a challenge-but i think the overall affect is how i wanted it. the faces were super hard with pastel-especially since where weren't any corners for me to use for fine detail by the time i got to the faces. the original image is further down in my previous posts but here is the rest of the process-enjoy:
